Recently, the Hotel O’Clock team took a trip to Bern to discover one of Switzerland’s most legendary hotels—the Bellevue Palace.
From the moment we arrived, we could feel the unique atmosphere of the place. Our rooms had incredible views over the city, the river, and the mountains in the distance—waking up to that felt pretty special.
Merve gave us a tour of the hotel, walking us through the beautifully designed common spaces, warmed up by the gentle spring sun. The meeting rooms were already set up for the day’s events, the team was buzzing around making sure everything was perfect, and the lounges looked stunning with fresh flowers and sparkling chandeliers. Walking through the hallways, we spotted pictures of celebrities and historical figures who had stayed here—a reminder of the hotel’s rich past.
For lunch, we headed to Noumi Bar & Grill, where we shared plates straight from the open kitchen—great food, relaxed atmosphere, and exactly the kind of spot you want to take your time in. Later in the evening, we stopped by the Bellevue Bar for drinks, enjoying the warm and elegant vibe.
The next morning, we took in the breathtaking views of the Bernese Alps over breakfast, but what stood out most was the impeccable service—the little details that make all the difference.
For over 150 years, Bellevue Palace has been welcoming guests from around the world. And after experiencing it ourselves, we can see why it remains such a special place.
